Artigos de Nimuendaju na Zeitschrift für Ethnologie (1914, 1915)

Vários artigos publicados por Curt Nimuendaju em 1914 e 1915 na Zeitschrift für Ethnologie foram recentemente acrescentados ao acervo da Biblioteca Digital Curt Nimuendaju, incluindo o clássico 'Die Sagen von der Erschaffung und Vernichtung der Welt als Grundlagen der Religion der Apapocúva-Guaraní' (1914), que marca o início de sua longa lista de contribuições para a etnografia e a lingüística sul-americanas e que só viria a ser publicado em português mais de setenta anos depois ('As lendas da criação e destruição do mundo como fundamento da religião dos Apapocuva Guarani', 1987, Hucitec/USP; tradução de Charlotte Emmerich e Eduardo Viveiros de Castro).

Os cinco outros artigos contêm listas vocabulares e coletâneas de lendas de diversos povos indígenas: 'Vocabularios da Lingua Geral do Brazil nos dialectos dos Manajé do Rio Ararandéua, Tembé do Rio Acará Pequeno e Turiwara do Rio Acará Grande' (1914), 'Vokabular der Parirí-Sprache' (1914), 'Vokabular und Sagen der Crengêz-Indianer (Tājé)' (1914), 'Sagen der Tembé-Indianer (Pará und Maranhão)' (1915) e 'Vocabulare der Timbiras von Maranhão und Pará' (1915). O autor assina todos estes trabalhos com o nome 'Curt Nimuendajú-Unkel'; em trabalhos posteriores, o sobrenome alemão 'Unkel' seria abandonado.
